How many courses do I need to take for the ALC Designation?
Land professionals working towards the elite ALC Designation need to complete six courses (104 LANDU contact hours) to apply. Fifty-six of those hours are completed in three required courses (Land 101, Land Investment Analysis, and Transitional Land Real Estate). Another 32 hours of specialty courses and 16 hours of elective courses must also be completed to fulfill the remaining hours for the requirement.
Do I need to attend the live webinar lectures that are part of a VILT course?
Registrants are highly encouraged to attend the live weekly webinars for the learning experience and instructor and course attendee interaction. The live weekly webinars are recorded and made available, within 24-48 hours of the session, to the course attendee. A final grade of 70 points must be earned on the exam to pass the course.
