Valuation and Transactions of Energy and Environmental Assets| LANDU | 16 ALC Credit Hours Course

Land agents will learn about various environmental assets and how to value them during land transactions, such as oil and gas, solar, wind, carbon, mining, broadband, cell towers, and conservation easements.

Upon completion of this course, participants will have the:

  • Knowledge to understand different types of land resources and the complexity of each type of land resource deal
  • Competence to estimate the market value of land resources
  • Confidence to demonstrate how to access good comp data
  • Expertise to indicate how to sever mineral rights from surface rights
  • Knowledge to explain the vast variety of conservation easements and why a landowner may want to have one or more of these on their property

Resource and/or Tools received:

  • Sample of mineral deeds, lease agreements and other documents needed for a land resource transaction

  • ALC Designated Course Price - For registrants that have already earned the Accredited Land Consultants (ALC) Designation and are considered to be an active ALC.
  • RLI Member Course Price - For registrants that are REALTORS® Land Institute Members who have not yet earned the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) Designation.
  • Non-Member Course Price - For registrants that are not active members of the REALTORS® Land Institute.
